Who I Work With

Children often show us what they’re experiencing through behavior, emotions, relationships, and changes at home or school. I support kids in finding their path with greater confidence and joy, healing from trauma, and building practical skills they can carry into everyday life.

My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and grounded in a deep understanding of child development. I bring nearly two decades of experience working with children and families, including a background as a preschool teacher, child development expert, and longtime summer day camp leader. That experience helps me connect with kids in ways that feel natural and age-appropriate while also supporting the adults who care for them.

Children

I work with children who may be experiencing:

  • Anxiety, excessive worrying, or separation anxiety

  • Changes in school performance

  • Difficulty making or maintaining friendships

  • Big emotions or aggressive behavior

  • Physical complaints related to stress

  • Difficulty focusing or staying on task

  • Social withdrawal

  • Challenges related to neurodivergence

Adolescence brings a lot of change, and teens sometimes need a space outside of home or school where they can explore what they’re experiencing without judgment. I support teens in building confidence, developing practical skills, navigating relationships and identity, and finding their own path forward.

My work with teens is strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming, with support tailored to each young person’s development, experiences, and goals.

Teens

  • Anxiety or symptoms of depression

  • Mood swings or emotional overwhelm

  • Academic struggles

  • Social isolation or difficulty with peer relationships

  • Low self-esteem

I work with teens who may be experiencing:

  • Family conflict

  • Challenges related to substance experimentation

  • Difficulty navigating digital media and online life

  • Identity exploration, including LGBTQIA+ identity

  • Stress related to college and future planning

Therapy can help adults understand themselves more fully, work through past experiences, navigate change, and develop new ways of approaching relationships and everyday life.

I particularly enjoy working with adults navigating:

Adults

  • ADHD, including diagnosis later in life

  • Neurodivergence

  • Trauma and intergenerational family patterns

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Relationships and family dynamics

  • Major life transitions

  • Welcoming a baby or changes in family roles

  • Empty nesting and second-half-of-life decisions

I support couples who want to strengthen communication, reconnect, and find their way forward together. That may include working through conflict or disconnection, navigating major life transitions such as welcoming a baby or becoming empty nesters, or simply creating more closeness and joy in the relationship.

The goal is to help you better understand one another, shift patterns that are getting in the way, and build a relationship that feels more connected, loving, and sustainable.

Couples

Families are constantly growing and changing, and those changes can sometimes create stress, conflict, or disconnection.

I work with families to better understand patterns and dynamics, strengthen communication, navigate transitions, and build healthier, more supportive relationships. Family therapy can also provide space to better understand individual needs, including neurodivergence, while helping the family work together with greater connection and understanding.
