About Seedlings

Seedlings offers alternative, outdoor-based youth programs with a focus on hands-on learning and exploration of the outdoor world.

A typical day at Seedlings includes an opening circle, exploration of the outdoor world, an art activity, group play, songs, and child-led activities. Kassey Baker, Seedlings Owner and Lead Counselor, has over 18 years of hands-on experience working with children and organic gardening.

We provide:

  • Empowerment of all genders through experiential learning.

  • Support for the whole child and family.

  • Organic gardening and outdoor play.

  • Nature walks that connect children to our local ecosystem.

  • Non-violent communication skill-building.

Seedlings is located on Gull Harbor Road in Northeast Olympia. Some programs take place off site. See our event and program descriptions for details.
